However, it appears that Motorola was indeed working on delivering Android 4.0 ICS updates for these smartphones, as proved by the recently leaked ROM. The US-based handset maker did not disclose any details on the reasons behind its decision to change its mind over these updates. Obviously, minor updates will probably continue to be pushed through if necessary, but neither will receive a major OS upgrade, such as Ice Cream Sandwich.
